so I am in the process of swapping my suspension. (thanks to all of those who have answered my questions) and when I pulled my old suspension out I found what my dad calls camber plates. they were turning to dust when they finally came out and so I sourced another pair which are a bit thinner from my bmw guy.  unfortunately during the cleaning process I realized that one of the old (New) caber plates I got is beginning to crack and break down.  are these hard to find? used? new? and how much? thanks in advance for all of your wisdom :)

If you do want camber plates, I would advise getting fixed plates.  Ireland engineering makes some.  Mine go in tomorrow, I will try to remember to update my impressions.  ADjustable camber plates are great if you run a coilover setup, but stock springs are just too large.  They will rub before you get big camber numbers.  The fixed plates give you a subtle improvement in camber, but not enough to cause fitment issues with stock suspension, and not enough to bring the real world issues of significant asymmetrical tire wear on street driving.

He is not looking to purchase adjustable camber plates. if I understand he's simply looking for replacement DOT spacers which I told him he doesn't need.

yes this is true. I wasnt sure what they were called but now I know! my front wheel gap has always been a little bigger than the rear so Im excited to lose that extra inch that those DOT spacers were taking up :)
