Yes, "bmore2002", NOS stands for "New Old Stock".  Usually implies they've been sitting, "unused", on someone's floor or shelf for who-knows how long.  I managed, a # of yrs. ago, to pick up a NOS radiator for my '75 automatic from a shop in Florida that was going out of business.  They can be a good source for parts, it they are something that does not deteriorate with age.
