My First Car Part 2

Well, today I made my first large purchase. I bought a 1976 BMW 2002. It is a low mileage pretty much all original. It needs new seats and small stuff but its basically all straight. So far I am loving the classic Bavarian experience. I kinda somewhat introduced my self earlier but what a better time to "officially" do it right! Well as stated before I drive a 2002 and my names Brandon. Up in the Pacific Northwest and soon to be a sophomore in highschool. All I know is I hope my experience with my car is just as good as the original owner had. I am truly happy that I have a opportunity to think out side of the box and have fun being unique. Got to see what my car can do today just a few minutes ago. On a windy smooth road, the experience was truly awesome. I hope to see some local 2002 enthusiasts and have good times with the vehicle. I hope I enjoy my stay.

And so it begins. Welcome to the Renaissance.

I have 76 and luv the car. These cars are transforming. You have a big group in the PNW and they have a group forum here. Make contact and ask questions.

BTW, how about some pics. Luv to see the car.

Welcome to the (take your pick) fraternity/sorority/madness...One of the truly cool things about 2002s is that they attract folks from high school age (and younger) to those of us more, uh, "seasoned" owners who bought theirs new--or at least many years ago.

The FAQ is a great source of information and help for new and experienced owners, so ask your questions without fear of snotty comments.  Great group of folks here.

cheers and again, welcome.
