Guest Anonymous
And has PICS of their progress? The PO of my car did some 'fixing' to them, which I believe was (hopefully) some metal patching, them he smutzed bondo all over them. I am too scared to take the bondo off right now, as I think once I do I'll get pissed off and cut the whole tower out. Anyone have pics of the job? I'll end up doing both I think, as I want it to be nice and clean. thx Matt '72 02/m20
Guest Anonymous
you can do an over lay with a whole rear shock tower. you can cut out the old one. You can just weld in some heavy metal and run it. Sam
Guest Anonymous
I repaired the passenger side rear as per the method published in the yellow BMW Owners Companion. This was done nearly three years ago and the repair has proven to be quite sound. Earl Myers 74 2002Lux 72 Volvo 1800ES
