1976 BMW 2002. Always garaged and covered. Never driven in rain. Original Southern California car – purchased from Dallas owner in March, 2010. 4-speed. Over $8000 in work performed since purchase. All receipts. Car is in excellent condition and could be utilized as a daily driver. Engine pulls strong. Transmission shifts normally. Drives like it was new. There is nothing mechanically that the car requires at present other than the heater blower motor that stopped working a few months ago. I have not repaired/replaced. Paint in very good shape. Small rust bubbles on bottom of passenger door but otherwise, no rust. Shock towers are perfect. Some of the work performed:

Complete front and rear suspension rebuild – parts from Blunt Tech – work performed by EuroTeck in Shreveport, La. Including Bilstein sport struts and H&R Sport springs. All new tie rods, inner and outer control arms, thrust rods, idler arm bushings, ball joints, center drag link, rear axle trailing arm bushings and sub frame mounts. Also:

M3 Starter

Ireland Engineering strut bar

Dash cap

New alternator

Rebuilt and recovered E21 Recaros

Sport steering wheel from 320is

All new brakes / hoses

Rear seals replaced

Guibo new - center

Half shafts rebuilt by Mesa Performance in Costa Mesa, CA.

New door seals

15” Rota wheels and Cooper performance tires – 75% of tread remaining

Seller welcomes serious inquiries and will respond to requests quickly. Seller can provide contact info for the mechanic who has performed 90% of the work. Overall excellent example of a classic 2002. You will not be disappointed in the overall condition or drivability of the car.
