E21 Transmission

Recommended Posts

I am in the process of converting to a 5 speed with an E-21 transmission.  The lever from the stock 4 speed transmission is different with the E-21 transmission. (please see image below)

Does anyone know if the release bearing on both transmissions are the same? If yes, how can I attach the release bearing onto the E-21 transmission lever?  If not, what is the part number for the E-21 release bearing.

Thank you,

you need the E21 323 throwout bearing for the conversion, the 320 bearing will work but I believe is a little short so the clutch will feel a little off.

Edit - I assumed you have a 228mm flywheel, if you have a 215mm then the 320 bearing is the correct one.
