You'll find lots on this forum, mostly positive, if you simply search on "Walloth Nesch".

Stock-replacement internet parts businesses operate by accessing wholesale wharehouse chains (IMC, WORLDPAC, etc.) that cater the parts vendors and repair shops.

Specific parts (like grills, trim, etc.) are sourced through BMW's parts system.  This BMW-system is accessed by the US dealer network (and by Walloth/Necsh in Germany) meaning that on these parts you can go to your local dealership and order them (often with a discount with a BMWCCA membership).  On these parts BMW has a constantly fluctuating algorithm that makes up the "List Price" some dealers sell parts for list, others charge a markup.  So on these items, no matter who you are buying from they are coming from BMW's network.  That being said, some of these parts take time to get the correct BMW numbers.  If you want to grease the wheels, access sites like REALOEM.com which show you the same parts diagrams and numbers that the dealer looks at.  Write down the parts numbers and call the dealer's parts desk.

That being said shops like Autohaus AZ, Bluntech, Maximillian, Ireland Engineering, ETC. are all using these sources for replacement parts but adding their knowledge of what parts still work, like what 2002 idiosyncrasies currently are (for example rear subframe mounts have gone up in price by %40 and are %30 softer than before), and what the current list prices are (BMW list-price is not publicly published).

I've bought from them before, and they are very good but shipping to the USA can be a killer.  I've also bought from Jaymic...back in the day they had all kinds of NOS stuff for cheap, but I suppose those days are long gone! :-(

I just finished me restore and I have ordered from pretty much every vendor around. My Favorites are Blunttech and rogerstii. Steve at Blunttech is super easy to deal with and has all normal items in stock and ready to go. Rogerstii has some pretty rare parts in stock and has been hassle free to deal with.

Also don’t forget about the dealers. Bmw of South Atlanta has a solid classic parts selection.

1976 BMW 2002 Chamonix. My first love.

1972 BMW 2002tii Polaris. My new side piece.

Bluntech.com is my hands-down favorite for replacement parts.  For just about any year of BMW Steve either knows which part will fit or will find it quickly, which brand has better quality parts, and he has phenomenal shipping.

For performance parts it's hard to beat Ireland Engineering.  They were sourcing performance and race parts way before most of the current vendors were even in business, and they continue to come up with innovative solutions.  The 2002 community is fortunate to have people like Jeff & Jeremy on our side.

Before the Ice Cream info Blunt was my favorite... now I'm wondering where my damn rocky road went.

Besides Blunttech I agree with the above mentioned, have gotten parts from all; fiberglass parts from IE, unusual parts from Rogers, full bushing kit from Blunt, etc. I've had great experiences with all of these. I ordered some hoses from a Tuner company and had a HORRIBLE time with that, and another time ordered from a Hot Rod company and again had a bad time. Not sure if it was just luck of the draw.

One that I like alot is BMW of South Atlanta (mentioned above) because it's so easy to track down the random bolt I throw across the garage in a fit of rage.

I have found that if I have questions I can call either Steve at Blunttech or BMW of South Atlanta and both will answer all of them.

Yes, there WAS skin on my knuckles before I started the repair...
