Parts Needed For Hydraulic Pedal Box

Recommended Posts

The brake master cylinder is nowhere near the pedal bucket on either the mechanical or hydraulic clutch equipped pedal bucket.  That's the clutch master cylinder that bolts to the pedal bucket.  I know for sure that you'll need:

1.  The complete pedal bucket assembly, pedals and all--especially the clutch pedal as it's way different on the hydraulic buckets

2.  A brake fluid reservoir with the side takeoff nipple that serves the clutch hydraulic circuit

3.  The metal or plastic low pressure line that connects the reservoir with the clutch M/C, with the rubber connector sleeves for each end

4.  The high pressure hose that connects M/C with slave cylinder

5.  A clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, with mounting bolts (M/C) circlips (slave cyl)

6.  the M/C pushrod connecting the clutch pedal to the M/C

7.  the pushrod connecting the slave cylinder to the throwout bearing withdrawal fork

Before you tear into this you'll need to check your 1600's transmission to insure it has the hole in the bell housing that the slave cylinder fits into.  I believe it does, but the pictures in the shop manual aren't clear.

Good luck

And of course you'll have to remove all the mechanical linkage pieces before installing the hydraulic style pedal bucket and the cylinders
