Single Sidedraft Kit

Recommended Posts

I ran the Lynx Single Side Draft setup from TEP in my 1975.  It was a stock bottom-end with a 292 cam upgrade.  Super easy to install and tune and the car ran great.  Here's a short video of it running...

I didn't run a choke, but didn't really need it in California.  It did take some time to dial in the jets/emulsion tube combination for the best power delivery, but once that was right, it ran like a top.

If you are not going to do any upgrades to the head, the Lynx setup may be overkill on the stock motor.  I also run a Weber 38/38 setup on the stock motor in my 1600 cabriolet.  You will be very happy with the result by just adding the 38/38 to the stock motor, tons of power, better throttle response, but gas mileage will suffer.
