other Search Guide Or Tips?

First off, great new format! It's extremely well thought out and I appreciate the hard work that must have gone into the new site. 

 

Like many, I am still trying to figure out the search functionality, with limited results.  So I was hoping that someone on FAQ had suggestions or, better yet, a guide for performing searches. e.g. syntax (AND, OR, " "), limitations (no words less than three characters long? Yikes, I hope not M10, E21 and EFI, LSD are important but then again maybe they are indexed exceptions). How quick search differs from advanced in the search rules. etc. etc. etc.

 

If found some suggestions here and there but its scattered.  If you have CONSTRUCTIVE input/questions, tips, work-arounds etc. please chime in. 

 

Maybe after enough info, I can compile the results into a guide.  I might be over-thinking this but I think there is a need for a FAQ search shop manual and I would be happy to help gather the information if it doesn't exist yet.

 

... and yes, I did try the search function. ; )
