Hi Steve.  Kudos on the new site, and all the hard work getting it set up.  You da man!

There's a problem with my Attachments - maybe others are seeing it too.  Namely there's now LOTS of images in my Attachments set that are NOT mine. I don't know how they got mapped to me in the conversion, or whose they are.  I can also see a number of them that are in fact mine.

I'm hesitant to go in and just delete/remove those that aren't mine - but I wanted to let you know first, since maybe you can fix this, and those who own these images will be able to get them back that way.  And if I remove them, I may be permanently deleting other's images.

So I'll sit tight for a while, hoping you can fix this.  This isn't the most urgent of issues (and I suspect you may run into a few with the new site...)

Congrats and thanks again!

I've got 11 pages.  And it's showing I exceed the allowed capacity (18.95MB of 14.65MB?).  Looking closer at all the "not mine" files  - I'm seeing that most all of them ARE from threads I've posted too - they're just not MY posts.  Interesting...

I can follow the Thread link for each, and see who they really belong to too.

I'm concerned if I delete them, the other FAQ member will lose their image, and the thread will then lose it too.  Thoughts?

Is it possible through the migration to the new site that everyone got their own files, PLUS the additional attachment files of any others that were posted in a thread they replied to?  So if I delete my copy of the file, they also still also have a copy - and it's not lost and the thread retains the picture...  Hmm.

So I'll sit tight a while more in case you want to investigate.

BTW - here's an example:

A copy of an image now listing in My Attachments that's really from user "jerry", with filename "Grampa&Ramone.jpg" of his 2 cats, that was posted to this "Adding a Cat" thread (that I did post a reply to, with no images) from January 2012...

Attachment:  (new SW won't let me paste the attachment link as an image link)

Thanks again for the assistance, Steve.

I'm not near limit so no issue for now.  My first reaction when I saw the attachments that were not mine was to delete them.  But, if I did, I'd be making some posts less valuable.  So, that is a possible risk.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
