I did not post a negative comment I simply stated that I wanted to purchase your lock set and I did not receive anything in my paypal (a money request) from you or anyone.

The only thing I did receive was a weird and possibly fraudulent request. which to me looks like a fake "hacking" Paypal link asking me to randomly enter my info.

If you can send me a money request through www.PAYPAL.com I am more than willing to paypal you the money for the parts I need.

possible scam link.

thank you and sorry for the confusion.

andy.

Andy

I just sent you another request. Please let me know if you get it. If not, it might be easier just for you to make the payment to me to avoid any further payment issues. I will be waiting for your response.

Guys,

I met with Mark this past saturday and bought his black door cards. There was also another member of the FAQ there picking up the front grilles/kidney, steering wheel, and other misc. parts.

Both of our transactions went smooth with no issues at all.

I wouldn't hesitate to do business again. There is no scamming here.

The car is in fact a euro 1971 car (1972 in US) that was originally Colorado orange...quite rare.

I'm not sure what the paypal issue is but I assure you, there isn't a scam going on here.

If there was, I would happily confront Mark and set the record straight.

Buy with confidence.

I am with Ryan D on this one. I was the other member and met Mark and Ryan......both very good people. I sent a deposit via PayPal to Mark's wifes PP addy of $75 to hold the parts I requested and when I met with him this past weekend, it was HIM that reminded me, after handing him an extra few hundred bucks for my parts pile, that I only owed him $225 instead of the three hundred I handed him. I totally forgot (since I sent him the money the first day of his thread) and it was basically his honesty that saved me that extra money. I don't know what the problem is with people sending him money through PayPal, but I certainly didn't have one. Thanks again to Mark for your hospitality and your honesty. Let me know what's left over and I, again, will shoot you the money through PayPal once I get more flow!!!

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
