after a terrible photo shop job this is what i came up with haha... for the back wheels and stance.

You don't need bags or coilovers for that stance. Find an '02 guy to help you out, not a lowrider guy.

And you really don't want that much camber at the rear.

Like the roof rack though. Do you know who made it?

N

Hey thanks for the good feed back I do know a 02 guy ill have to talk to him. Also thank I am thank full to the people who didn't bash me and just gave me good in put or other ideas very help full.

^ I really just want the stance above that I photoshopped.

You really should keep it at stock height incase you ever have to drive over a fallen sequoia tree or the occasional 6' deep lake that form at intersections during a light rain. Those damn kids making 02s "low riders"... completely destroying the functionality of the car.

I concur with others to drive the car for a bit first. Make it safe and see what else comes up that needs attention before getting to fast in the looks dept. Hows the bushings? and brakes? Plenty of time to research bags or coilovers. BTW, you have red Konis and IE stage I springs and no sways on your 02.

I love how Ray knows more about your particular 02 than you do (I know you just got it and have no way of knowing. not a stab, just saying it's great that someone knows that specific car.)

You're 17 ish, so we are aware that you aren't new to the internet, but you're obviously new to these cars. I feel like most of us assume that you bought a car that looks cool and want to stance it out because that's the cool thing to do these days. If you expected ALL of us to support your idea, you're wrong.

nobody is gonna stop you from doing what you want to your car. we know that in the end you'll just do what you want. Please take the time and save up more than 2k to throw at your car, that way you can drive it more, research it more, build a relationship with your car, and when the time comes to do some drastic modification, you won't be hung up by finances. I kept my 02 for a year almost before i did much more than replace the drag link on my steering.

there you go got her yesterday

A beauty.

You have many options. Are you trying to go low for the sake of low? do you want slammed or do you want a more sporty lower suspension? Wheels, well.. There are many. YOurs are 13inch from the 320i. Nice wheels.

Roll your fenders if you need clearance.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
