Hi, here is a litle update about my tune box.

I am getting 30pcs of circuits assembled by a local circuit assembler.

Should get them in a week or so.

Next i will assemble the cables and fit into the enclosure.

Slowly, but surely.

Stay tuned !!

just for fun...

you bet...imagine, 1940 !!! there was a GM 3 speed transmission connected to the PTO with the shaft toward the front of the truck, probably a huge winch or a snow blower. there is traces of all kind of braketery soldered here and there on it, who knows what it was used too back then. Theses trucks where sold to farmer back then, because they where 4x4.

This truck is 100% functionnal

-all bulbs, driving lights, ghost lights and convoi lamps

-original hand actuated 6v starter (no solenoid, lol)

-brake lamp with glass cover

-all dash switches work

-all guages work

-speedo work

-mopar heater (50's unit)

-hand brake

-all 4 drum brake with original metal hoses !!!

-original working horn

-original wood steering wheel

-original working vacuum wiper motor

-original champion spark plugs (made in canada !!)

-original motor, never opened ever !!!

runs like a fucking champ. starts at -40, goes like a scalded cat.....lol...

Cool videos!

I grew up on a ranch where we used a bunch of WWII & Korean War era rigs even through the '70's. Several Dodge Power Wagons, and a couple of GMC 6x6s (AWD, dual rear axles, one with a hoist) are now melting into the ground out there in NE Oregon, and once in a while I wake up at night in a cold sweat, thinking I have to save them. Then I go back to sleep.

Does this only work for cars running a distributor? Or does it take measurements from another place? The reason I ask is because I want one, but I run megajolt/EDIS and wouldn't want to waste my money.

Mostly I want the tach and ignition functions for easy tuning.

it takes the measurement from the OEM diagnostic plug in the engine bay next to the brake booster.

Depending on how you wired your stuff, the original functions into the plug shoulndt get modified. I cant tell.

FWIW on my turbo 02 i run a SDS EM4F and it works, since i wired it in as if it where "oem". So the tach, ignition and start still reaches the diagnostic plug, otherwise it wouldnt be hard to get that back, but again i cant tell, depends on your experience, knowledge, wiring habits,...

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
