Guest Anonymous
the motor, mate things up where it's easy to do and then drop them in together. I can get the front end of the car up high enough, and I've put four speeds in this way. I've just never tried it with those nasty extra 3.6" hanging there. Comments / suggestions welcome. Thanks!! Guest Anonymous
if thats what you mean, I had the same problem Im not sure is because you doubt yourself or whatever but I fought with it forever until it just when in. So keep at it, even if your arms are dead.
Guest Anonymous
I agree. I lifted the front of the motor a bit and just flat wore myself out and then it just fit like it was supposed to be there. Extra arms are good on this job.

Guest Anonymous
morning before renting an engine hoist. I remove the disti cap, jacked up the front till the disti was on the firewall and that little sucker sliped in there easier than a high school sweetheart on prom night!!!!! I wish I had as many good things to say about using angle iron rails instead of new mounts. . . I probably spent 3 hours fabricating and screwing around. It looks like it would place the tranny too high in the tunnel and still would take more grinding to clear the flange on the downpipe on one side and the bracket that holds the shift platform on the other. Cheers! John N
