Guest Anonymous
'73 2002 with new front brakes, fresh fluid, new Bilstein HD all around, all brakes adjusted f/r, springs stock but ok, fresh front end alignment, tire pressures ok, minimal play in steering box, engine and tranny mounts ok. On braking car pulls to the right even if I pump the brakes. Any ideas? Bad brake lines, perhaps?
Guest Anonymous
I tried to rebuild my calipers once, and after I reinstalled them my car pulled hard to one side when I was braking, did you put rebuilt calipers on, or just new pads and/or rotors? I ended up buying new/pro-rebuilt calipers and it solved the pulling.

Guest Anonymous
I went thru this before and while you are at it replace them all with stainless steel line's which will SERIOUSLY improve pedal feel and braking

Guest Anonymous
Ivan I just dealt with this same problem! Don't do what I did and replace the calipers first and the brake lines last:( Waste of money! If the car pulls to one side replace the other side brake lines or just to be sure do all four. Did just that and now everything is good. Now if I could just fix the overheating problem.... Guest Anonymous
when I changed my front calipers, I ended up with 2 different pad sets in there, and I guess they were just different enough that it made the car pull. Put in a new set, the same all around, and it straightened out perfectly. Sometime I amaze even myself. I was going to rerun all the lines!!
