We still have a few things to do on the inside, but it's mostly there.

LOOKS GREAT!

Is the trunk gap too big? Does the trunk need to go forward some? Mine rubs when open so I am battling that...

I am going your same route.... 14" baskets, no front bumper...

Love that look!

That is awesome and exactly the stance I am looking to achieve for my '72. Excuse a very stupid question, what are the rims and suspension setup?

The trunk gap does seem a little off on that side but any further adjustment to decrease it would cause it to rub.

The suspension is just Bilstein sports and H&R springs that the previous owner had installed. We put on suspension techniques sway bars and then all new urethane bushings on everything front and back.

The local VA Beach '02 crowd should get together some time, unless you guys already are and I'm missing out. I know of 3 other locals that drive them.

The wheels appear to be the 14" E30 sport version.

OP - Do you plan to paint the rocker panels beneath/below the metal trim black?

The wheels are the BBS ones that normally have the gold center and silver rim, we blasted off the old paint and painted them in a metallic silver.

We are not planning to paint the bottom of the rockers black at this point. If they start getting chipped up, we'll do it later.
