Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm So when I pulled my VERY greasy water pump off today, I was kinda surprised to see that it was painted the same shade of red that the CR steering boxes are. Well, when I looked at the casting date, it was 02/75!!! My car is a 76, built towards the end of 75, and all the other cast parts share the same 02/75 casting date. Am I the only one who finds it strange that my car has a 28 year old water pump, and that it still works perfectly fine? Al
Guest Anonymous
I don't really know how that stuff works, but would they use the same casting for a rebuilt pump? Eddy
Guest Anonymous
bearing rumble - never leaked a drop, but it got replaced before the trip to O'fest, just to be avoid problems on the road. Suspect the original pumps must have been pretty good quality, like most of what went on the cars when they were new..........
