I have a few M10 BMW 4 spds in the shop stamped "66" inside the bell housing. They do not have the hole on top for timming. One trans is a 3 bolt and the other is a 4 bolt..

Anybody using these or are they scrap?

I will sell them if someone needs them.

FWIW, I had a conversation with a guy in his 80's at a German car show this Summer about a new '64/65 NK that he purchased in Canada. He told me that the car "was absolute crap", and the 4-speed had to be replaced three times in 30K miles on warrenty. These quality problems obviously were fixed in the later years.
