Pop-up ads on the FAQ

I've started seeing pop-up ads on some of the FAQ forum threads. Is this intended? If not, perhaps this is the reason that the warning's still show up occasionally?

Not that particular ad, but some that are a little on the trashy side of the web...yes, me too.

I use Firefox with pop-up blocker enabled. But, it still showed up.

Lol. Yeah, the one with the women and the hands in the panties is hard to explain.

If Msoft security essentials and Spybot both miss it, I think we're all in big trouble.

Also some of us were getting error messages after submitting posts...

I have also noticed that things seem to be a bit slower?...or is it just me...

I am sure those types of ads are coming from Adware or Botware/Malware on your own system.
