squrters work wipers work w/squirter!

How do I keep them on??????????????

Try pulling out the knobs next to the instrument cluster.

And by that, I mean a gentle tug.

If that fails, try turning them.

If THAT fails, there's something goofy in your electrics.

It's either a knob or you activate them in the stalk. Try pushing it in softly.

I've seen all sorts of different stalks and knobs installed in different 02's retrofitted by their owners so sometimes you don't know what to expect!

Mine has en E30 stalk :/

The Po took 3 cars and made 2 I am missing many parts Or I think I am. who knows what he did I will check it out.

I drove the 71 Tii Touring for years but I am getting older.

moulding, black instruments (no silver centers) and conical-shaped steering column stalk knobs (not the jelly-bean shaped ones of the earlier cars.) If that's the case, the lower right dash knob controls the low and high speeds for the wipers; push the turn signal stalk (right side) in to turn the wipers on.

If your '71 is an earlier one, then the lower right dashboard knob turns the wipers on to low speed, with a second pull for high speed.

That is, unless a PO has messed with things!
