Hi, has anyone had the pleasure of removing and installing a heater blower motor on a '76 2002, Mine is not working and needs to be replaced. From what I see they are also VERY expensive, any help on how to do this the easiest way is greatly appreciated. Thank You, Bill

I just replaced my blower motor with this one:

http://www.autohausaz.com/search/product.aspx?sid=dlkjcu45yhvpqa451jclx33o&partnumber=0%20130%20007%20081

and since I couldn't get the fan blade off of the old motor I bought this:

http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/118/654/=kg3s7w

Which had the wrong center bore, but I drilled it out bigger, and it works.

The only other issue I had was that it rotated in the wrong direction, so I reversed the wires.

I think if I was to do this again, I might try to buy a computer case type fan.

I am in the process of doing this very thing. My motor was totally shot, so I opted to replace it with a non-stock style one. I used this motor:

So far so good. Don`t have it all back together yet, but the fan blows lots of air and fits well. Should have it installed tomorrow, so I`ll take some pics along the way and report back on how it does.
