Are Cutpile carpets ok?

Or should you really go molded? I assume that the first one means that it is in pieces and the other means that it is just one piece

The cut pile gives a smooth, even finish. Kind of like a velour. The loop pile is a more uneven surface and is the original style.

The early cars came with separate pieces of carpet, where the later cars had the single, molded carpet set.

There are also domestic and imported weaves for the carpet.

You need to decide what your goal is. If it is a full out resto, get the imported weave full loop pile in the proper color ($$$$$). If you just need some carpet to look decent and are not concerned with it being "proper or correct", get the domestic weave. cut pile or loop is your choice.
