Trade fiberglass hood for original - mid to south FL

I have an Ireland Engineering fiberglass hood that I would like to trade for an original 2002 steel hood. The hood has been reinforced with aircraft aluminum both horizontally and vertically. The four hood pins would be included. I'm in the Stuart area and will drive to your location to make the swap.

If you wish to sell it let me know.

The only spare hoods I have are damaged by rust along the front edge.

I can check with a shop in St pete. they have some parts from the 70s era.

I'm still looking for a good hood and will gladly sell you my fiberglass hood if you could spot one for me in your area. Any luck with the shop in St Pete?

I don't want to let mine go until I'm sure I have a replacement. Ideally bring mine over and pick up one in your area on the same trip.

I got ahold of the shop in St pete. he just did a truckload sale of all his 02 parts and everything is gone. Plus he didnt have any hoods. so Sorry dead end.

Thanks for checking around. I'll have the rest of the body ready for paint by the weekend so thinking about staying with the fiberglass hood. I just wanted to make it look more original but their's a lot to be said for saving weight because of the heavier M20 engine.
