Chamonix 72tii Wayne Wundrams car on BaT

Wayne's car is an excellent example of the early Tii.

His restoration was correct and accurate.

The comments on BAT are encouraging. Both cars are different -

talking apples and oranges, obviously. Every shop does things differently.

The Inka car is still missing some attention to detail.

The last decade has demonstated that a dedicated person can produce

an excellent restoration from their home garage or shop. Not everyone

needs a business to provide a high level of craftsmanship.

As Richard Lentinello (editor of Hemmings - SC&E and the big book) wrote

in a recent issue about the affordability of tools that have brought these

high level restorations out of owners home shops.

Either way the current market is providing old/new/experienced

enthusiasts a great deal of value for the money.

This is good for everyone.

Edit - I know Ray was kidding in his post. Ray has a good sense of humor 8^)

She was surreal!

She took a nice pic, tho!

You behave!

Ask Ray about the voodoo lady outside Irene's in the FQ this past summer... bizarre!! Insanely nice tii too btw. I always tell prospective'02 owners who want a really nice car right from the start to buy another person's restoration. Good value for $$.
