M2 swap in my 2002

Hi All,

I have had my swap on the back burner for some time and I miss my 02 so here is my first steps in the project.

Just took the first real step on the to swap cleaning the engine bay and pushing her back in the garage:) more pics and details to come.

Just a few things you can do with the engine is out "While You Are At It":

Reinforce the driver side mounting bracket, they tend to crack

Wash, inspect, repair, prep and paint any areas of the engine bay

Reinforce the sides of the engine bay to the chassis by welding end the pieces together.

Would not hurt to replace the hard brake lines with the engine is out, if able to access one, change brake booster to a Tii version, clutch slave and throw out bearing.

Replace pedal box cover

Start tagging engine harness

I have found these projects easier to do with the engine out than in.
