The seat belts in my '76 are lap belts, but it there is an anchor for a shoulder belt (making it a 3-point belt vs. 2-point belt). Which was standard, lap or shoulder/lap?

Any recos for a place to buy the shoulder belts? Anyone done this?[/code]

I was talking about the front belts, but would also be curious about the rear ones.

yes. bluedevils (Al) is the seatbelt man. contact him.

someone messed with your car. it came from factory with 3-pt belts.

don't buy used seatbelts. they are all 40 years old. the webbing may look ok, but it is seriously compromised from age. belts are a critical safety item! get belts with new webbing.

I bought new OEM BMW front belts from Steve at BluntTech--got a great deal. www.blunttech.com.

I just bought a pair of front belts on eBay for $85 + $15 shipping. The retractors on my originals were shot and I was tired of either sitting on the belt or having it hand out of the door when I closed it. They look to be bolt in replacements except that the reel is enclosed rather than open.
