The Bolt that goes threw the backing plate into the engine on the back of the starter on my car is looking bad. Does anyone know the bolt size or where I can find one? I have looked in parts catalogs and it does not seem to show up. Or I am looking in the wrong place.

Thanks guys

That is not the bolt I am looking for.

On the back of the starter there is a plate that has a bolt that goes threw it into the block. That is the bolt I am looking for. Sorry I don't have a picture to show. Ill try to get on in the AM.

Do you mean the bolt that holds the bracket to the block?

The bracket on a tii is 12 41 1 261 706 but I can not find the size of the bolt for that one.

If that is the one you want, let me know I and I will pull it and measure it.
