months--every time? A three year battery lasts 39 months, a 5 year battery 65 months etc... How do the manufacturers time it so well? Battery in wife's Acura (72 month battery) died at 79 months. Same with both '02s and my truck. And my E30. Amazing!

...it's good thing that you parked at the TOP of the mountain at last year's O'Fest.

I was getting tired of push-starting you.

BTW, I happened to see a piece that Andy Rooney did regarding how fast motorist drive on both coasts and he was driving his BMW 5-series on I-95 north of NYC for the east coast taping.

"..ever notice how nobody drives the speed limit anymore..."

if the part last longer then needed, then it's over engineered. if it last less then it's poor quality. you'll find now days that everything on a car will fail at certain milage/age say 200k miles. All parts are designed to last the same distance.

keeps the economy moving too.
