anyone tried POR-patch or similar on dash cracks?

That POR patch is VERY handy stuff, I don't know about a dash though. I can imagine if you did, make sure you level it down flat or leave a tiny depression on the crack line since when this stuff cures it slightly expands with tiny bubbles and can get rough if it sitting proud of the dash surface. Forget about sanding it too, the stuff is like rockhard. If you leave it slightly shy of the surface you can fill it with something that sands easier before painting over. It cures in presence of moisture, so it may cure a little different texture than where I am (humid). Awesome stuff, I used an entire tube on my bug while doing the resto..metal seams, screws that go into the body = no more rusting. Good Luck!

soo much running around to fit in before i pop back down south, i am losing my mind here right now

After paying the one way truck rental, etc i wont have too many pennies to rub together until i start that four letter work stuff (W_O_R_K). Otherwise Zenon, you and I might as well hang at the liquor store drinking meths all day, eh.

I promise to be w better 2002BCer once i am up properly.
