Wow!

I bought one from goliners a few years back. It was right around $100 with shipping.

I guess most '02 parts have doubled in price over the last 2~3 years (including dodgy used parts).

Yeah, I bought one from Whitneys once.

It didn't fit right at first.

Eventually, I made it work.

But for $79.95, it was priced right.

So if you want the original headliner then Rogers TII is the place.

http://www.rogerstii.com/servlet/the-362/bmw-2002-headliner-roof/Detail

I orders three others from vendors who said that they have the original material, but they didn't. This includes World, the eBay vendor as noted in the other post and Maximillion. All three vendors were great on returns. The material from World looked to be the closest to the original, but not quite right. When I received the one from Roger, I knew it was right. Not just because the material was spot on, it was because it came sealed with a BMW part number on it. At the time I bought from Roger, the price was about the same as the others. But now, Roger seems to be 100+ dollars more. I think it is because he is the only one who has the original in stock.

I noticed the vendor on Ebay has the same headliner for the BMW 1600 for a lot cheaper. Are they the same? IS the 2002 headliner considerably different?

I know, I actually bought the headliner from these folks 2-3 years ago, and it was $79.99 or something, and just a couple months ago, I swore it was $139. Costs on all materials in general, seem to continue climb, not just bmw parts.

What are our options for non-white headliners? I'd like a dark gray or black headliner for a non-sunroof car. Doesn't have to be oem material.

I was just checking your web site and could not locate them. Can you pass along a link?

Also, I've heard that these are a pain in the A$$ to install. Anyone have experience with installing these?
