i know someone on here has done this, but i can't find their post or explanation of what they used anymore...

they used this type of rear coilover collar mounted to the nipple on the body from summit racing -

they also used/found a spring to fit on it as well - the ID of the spring needs to be about 4 + inches.

does anyone know who i am taking about? or where to get said 4 inch ID springs in about a 5 or 6 inch length? yes, searched Summit racing and Jegs, etc...

thanks.

because you need 5in od springs. very common part for US stock car racers in many lengths and rates. if you are using those adjusters, you want 8in long. (unless you are slamming the car to the ground)

Lordy, man, you live in stock car country,

I'd expect that the 7-11 would have things like that!

"Spring spacers, adjustable" they're called-

I buy the springs from Speedway, Summit, Performance Bodies, Hoerr, etc...

Gordon's recommendation looks good, too.
