You're being jealous of nothing. You have much more and nicer -02's in US. Really there aren't that many old BMW's in Europe and parts, especially aftermarket, have even better availability in US.

Tommy is right, a lot of stuff from 02 has been thrown away because they didn't know that this stuff will be worth anything. In USA this is a different story.

Im from Europe btw.

The engine will get swaped to normal tii when a car is bought.

Engine will sell separately... If you translate from German.
