Guest Anonymous
The speedometer needle seems to be jumping all over the place. It starts out at 80 when you start moving and goes backwards down towards Zero. Any thoughts? Thanks
Guest Anonymous
1. remove instrument cluster and unscrew cable from speedo 2. unscrew cable from tranny under the car 3. Squirt speedometer cable lube (get from auto parts store, or use Lockeze or similar product with suspended graphite) in the top 'till it runs out the bottom. 4. Reinstall cable at both ends, replace instrument cluster. 5. If this doesn't work, it's the speedo itself. They've been known to go a little wonky with age. Take to speedo shop.
