Howdy,

I bought my '74 02, an Inka orange repaint, a few weeks ago but have been visiting this site for a while now.

The car has some issues, but I've followed most of your advice on purchasing these fun little cars and so haven't had any major surprises. I'm a newb mechanic-wise but I look forward to tinkering with my 02.

I've almost forgotten how fun it is to drive a stick shift, and this car...my cheeks hurt from smiling. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Cheers,

~Marcel

Those wheels should be standard on Inka's, they just look awesome. Congrats on the purchase

No one should make the mistake of thinking that because a car has CA plates, it must be a solid, rust-free example. While the Inka car pictured may be just that (and we hope it is), lots of people import cars here from elsewhere, slap CA tags on them, and pretend the car MUST be solid. The plates on the car pictured are only several years old, so the car's first 30 years could have been spent anywhere.
