The car looks nice! If you want the proper front bumper overriders I would be willing to trade mine for yours. The overriders I have are larger and the bumper bar mounts flush onto them, versus having an extra long bolt like yours.

Yeah, that bumper is pretty jacked. Thinking about getting a new short bumper if thats possible. Pretty far down on my list right now....you know....oil leaks and some other not as fun stuff first.

Don't know much about the car beside everyone telling me I shouldn't buy it. :) The guy I bought it from had NO info on it and pretty much lied about everything in his CL add. I bought it anyways. I couldn't wait anymore....I needed it! Its a 73 but the engine isn't original and as I tear it apart I'm finding out that almost none of the actual screws are original! My passenger arm rest had 3 different screws. Rust isn't bad, had the tranny rebuilt (opted for a 4 speed rebuild since it would be a long tim till paint and body and 4 is enought to ride around town) Brakes were redone. Just finally ordered up recaro's, i'll get those in this weekend. Just finished rebuilding both doors (huge improvement) plus some other little cosmetic stuff (driving lights, steering wheel, a couple random emblems and chrome bits here and there) Fixed my dome light and door switch (Amazing how much a small can of de-oxit will fix) Yanked the old fridgiking and put in an old non-ac console. Trunk lid isn't original (has a 74' emblem on it...along with the rear emblem...for some reason it's really annoying having 2 emblems right next to each other. Run's like a champ right now...glad I bought it. Leaks oil like a chevron tanker. Is there a place on the forum to view members and the cars they drive or do you just dig through the posts?

Good looking car and congratulations on your purchase. Just on the subject of the front bumper overriders, those shown in your picture are period correct for a 1973 2002. 2002's from '71 through '73 had bumpers with rubber strip and smaller overriders. Seems like all you may need to change are the rubber portions of the overriders.

Enjoy your project and your ride.
