Guest Anonymous
This past weekend I pulled the breather tube off of my '73tii - the one from the rocker cover to the air canister. It has a nipple on it in the middle for a small diamenter hose that I can't figure out. I know that there is a line that runs from someplace under the tuna can...I hooked that one up to the air canister. The source of this one is a mystery. Anybody? Guest Anonymous
that goes to the onther nipple on the side ofthe throttle body. Just look hard and you will see it.
Guest Anonymous
I'm just trying to undo thirty years of well-intentioned "tinkering" by the five previous owners.

Guest Anonymous
on the right side of the throttle body. Sort of behind #3 air tube. FYI- if you order a new breather hose from the air plenum/accumulator, make sure you get the little press in nipple. There will be a small hole already formed in the breather hose. Use a little alcohol to help press it in. I think the small hose is 4x6 mm or something like that.
Guest Anonymous
The connection is down low on the firewall side of the throttle body very close to where the TB attaches to the intake plenum. I would imagine yours has some sort of cap or sealed-off hose on it or you'd have a nasty little vacuum leak. Matthew Cervi '73 tii
Guest Anonymous
...to the air canister. Is that not correct? If that's not correct, then is that the one that connects to the nipple on the breather hose? Whatever the case, I have an extra fitting. Is there a link with a picture? Guest Anonymous
Do you possibly have an air canister from a '74? I have only one connection on my air canister--the large one that goes to the main breather hose (and the small connection off the throttle body does go to the t-connector on the main hose). Air canisters for '74's have an extra small fitting that (I think) goes to the vaccuum retard on the distributor or some other emission device. Sorry, don't have any good pictures of it. Guest Anonymous
...and I'm pretty sure that this is the original (unmodified) air canister for my '73.
