open track time trial session at summit point yesterday for your entertainment.

you can just see the speedo and tach if you look close. oil pressure and AFM are the gauges on top of the dash.

Nice sound, actually first thing i noticed was how spot on your AFR is.

Whats that screeching, grinding sound?

You left foot brake at all?

Like any 02 they certainly like to push (understeer) a bit...

FYI i see around 13.0 AFR on my tii. Decent enough.

no...not usually a left foot braker.

and yes...a solid dose of understeer. gotta play with suspension some more to fix that. although my solution in the long, slower right hander was to just mash the throttle a bit. counter-intuitive, but it added enough slip angle to the back to help.

other factor was the 195/50 toyo R888's i was running on...with over 25 heat cycles. way past done.

i data log almost every session and tweak the fuel maps in the computer in th evening. i run closed loop AFR correction to do the fine tuning to keep it near the desired AFR.

and i hate that screeching understeer sound!

Is your AFR gauge reading at 1/3 second intervals?

Cheers,

Ray
