....the din connector is supposed to go with the radio but folks in

a hurry pull the stereo often leave the din plug behind thinking it

is part of the car's wiring. A good stereo place may be able to

make one up because it's a pretty simple connector. I have had

this done to other stereos. Give it a shot-you might get lucky.

Pull the cover off of the radio (carefully). You should be able to trace + and - easily. Once you find those 2 wires, the rest are speaker wires, very easy to identify. Go to radio Shack, get some pins that will solder on the end of a wire & fit the hole, and make your own harness. Be careful with the power wires though. Good luck.

thanks for the tip. I removed the top of the radio and the damn circuit board is smack in the way, blocking the DIN. However, I can see 5 wires which are coming out from beneath the circuit board and my guess is these are connecting into the DIN. They are in order, Red, Blue, Black, Brown, Yellow. Now I don't know which wires go where into the DIN.

I thought it was a 7-pin...but I think the seventh is actually some kind of alignment hole. Maybe that makes this a 6-pin DIN?
