Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.lovingeveryminuteofit.com Since I'm not getting any fluid back to the rear brakes and one of them has the bleeder valve broken, I figured I might as well replace them. So I finally got the left rear taken apart. One bolt broke one the cylinder, but since I was planning on replacing it, who cares. Got everything apart and disconnected the metal brake line from the rubber one. No fluid there. Hopefully the clog is in the rubber line, they do look really bad. Maybe tomorrow I'll get some picks of this. It's really easy to get the rear brakes apart, but now that it is apart I can't tell how to get it back together. Good thing the other side is still in one piece for reference. Getting late, gotta go to bed. Lars
Guest Anonymous
evident when a rear brake drags or doesn't work properly... Hope you don't break off an adjuster...if they're really stuck use a propane torch to heat 'em and then grip the inner part (not the hex head) with vice grips and work 'em back and forth 'till they're nice and smooth-turning. cheers Mike
