Guest Anonymous
Ok fokes lets test the old knolage. Lyle purchased a drive shaft that was suposed to be correct for his 5sp tranny. Well the drive shaft is too long and there is not enough adjustment in his rear diff to accomadate it. To try and save some cash for him we are looking at other options. We need some one with a later Automatic Guibo to tell us if it is A. an 8 bolt unit (early ones we know arnt but my parts book does not say for the later cars, it needs to be FROM CHASSIS NUMBER 2532126) and B. An exact measurement of the bolt studs running through it. ie take your calipers and measure the distance between the metal sleves. C. is there another 8 bolt guibo that will attach and will be skinnier? thanks for your help Sam

Guest Anonymous
it's dimensionally the same as the 8 bolt '02. All the '02 a/t driveshafts I've seen have been 6 bolt guibo/3 bolt flange units with a different (smaller) bolt circle than the later 320 flange. Wish I had better news.......
