Guest Anonymous
you might want to get your flywheel resurfaced since its already off. its only $20 or so. and unless your clutch is pretty new, have you considered replacing it since you have everything apart? and carb cleaner would probably be fine to clean the metal bits. just don't get it on the friction surfaces. Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm Brake clean will be fine on friction surfaces, but you may want to replace the clutch while you're in there. If any more than a few drops of oil gets on the disc, it will have soaked in, and no amount of cleaning will remove it. It will seep out in the future, and cause a slipping clutch. If not much oil got on the disc, then brake clean, and some fine sandpaper/emory cloth will clean it up OK. Al
