Can you take the intake mani off, w/o removing the head?(nt)

I've taken mine off and put it on many times with everything else implace. I've even done it with regular size tools, but stubby 12 and/or 13mm's would help a lot.

If you are having trouble with the bottem bolts try removing the carb first. Also the bolts will probably back out then hit the actual manifold. They did on mine so what I had to do was back all 4 out about 3 mm, then slide the manifold out, then back them out more, ect. It sucks but it can be done.

did a "profile" job on a cheap 12mm boxend w/my bench grinder. Cut it in half and it works great for intake/exhaust work.

I already had the radiator out, so I just pulled the alternator and the battery, and I had a clear shot through the nose at the underside bolt. Normal tools, no problem.
