Guest Anonymous
The little light in the instrument cluster that flashes when the turn signals are on won't turn off, it's on constantly, no blinking. When I do signal the light remains constant but flickers a little with the clicking of the relay. Anybody had this problem before? Maybe the relay? Turn signal switch? Guest Anonymous
Pop cover off the turn signal relay while it's still plugged in. Inside you'll see two sets of relay points. I'll bet one set is stuck closed. If so, that's the set that causes the inside light to blink. If they're not welded together, separate them and then bend the point arms 'till they will open and close normally. If the points have welded themselves together, you'll probably have to find another relay. Cheers Mike
Guest Anonymous
Thanks for the tip. I poped off the cover and cleaned all the contacts and made sure everything was in place. A capacitor looking thing was bent over pretty bad and I think some of its leads were touching. Anyways, problem solved. Thanks.
