Guest Anonymous
When the clutch is engaged there is a noticable grinding sound coming from the transmission tunnel. When I disengage the clutch the sound goes away. Anybody gone through this before? Should I expect to replace both the clutch and transmission or just the clutch? Thanks, John
Guest Anonymous
Since you have to R&R the tranny to replace it, change out the pilot bearing and clutch disk too. Its also a very good time to replace the shifter and tranny output seals. Cheers! John N
Guest Anonymous
by holding in the clutch while the car is not in motion. To prolong the TO bearing, when stopped at light or stop sign, shift to neautral and release the clutch.
