Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.bmw2002faq.com/02s_online/links.html I *KNEW* I shoulda taken it all back apart after having put the fiver in it, and pounded out the top of the tunnel some. It broke right at the left forward mount where it attaches to the tranny. I think its the left side, anyways. Im still a little loopy from the evil STREP i got over the weekend somehow. prolly one of these fuckbastard mosquitos! Im home sick again for the third and last day (got officimical docter's excuse and whatnot) and just spent an hour and a half under the car poking around and deciding what to do. What I THINK im gunna do is drill a couple of holes in the top of the tunnel and then drop a bigass tie-strap in there to hold up the ass-end of the platform. either that or i could limp it into work and try to fix it there. cept our gas welder only has cutting tips on it and they eat up this type of fatigued, thin metal... hmmmmmmmmmmm......... -Rob

Guest Anonymous
the price is right. I found a box in the shop with an entire shift platform in it. This time you could properly shorten/reinforce it and never have to worry about it again. Mac.
