Guest Anonymous
For the price of the engine alone (before any needed engine parts, machine work, and ancilliary components) you can do a full m20b25 conversion. Many s14's have seen a lot of use (read abuse) and may need some extensive work. How do I know about pricing? I'm doing one. I have what I consider to be 90% of the parts assembled and I havn't even come close to the cost of a used s14 CORE without harness, ecu... The power is sufficient to satisfy even the hungriest of addicts. (rode in one last week) Good luck Bill
Guest Anonymous
if it is a 525i. The only years that had the m20 are 81-90. Only 88-90 had the 170hp version. The others are 150 I think. 525e had 125hp. You will need a transmission... this you should consider your most critical path. Bill
