Guest Anonymous
It not have to use vacumm lines. I dont have any vacumm lines (002 tii dist.) In the past and present, I am using those cheap little rubber vaccum caps u get at parts stores. The problem I am having is that they keep cracking (heat and age). What have u guys/girls done to prevent vaccum leaks? I was thinking JB Weld? Lyle

Guest Anonymous
fabricator heliarc everything closed. Filed and sanded all the welds smooth, then bead blasted the manifold - looks very slick.

Guest Anonymous
I unscrewed my smog ports from the manifold and cleaned up the threaded areas and welded em up using my 135 mig and it went like butter. Then used a 4.5" grinder to dress things off smooth. Also welded up the holes inside the exhaust manifold that held the "injection straws" or whateverthehell . Added new studs to the down pipe flange and hogged out the manifold to gasket match it about a inch deep. Nice and easy like.
