Guest Anonymous
m10 up to nearly 300hp (efi, turbo etc) if you are keen on sixes, the m20 is your best bet. (e30, 325i for example) as there is lots of data about this swap on the net.
Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.m2bmw.com/m2BMW/m6.htm ...by a few folks. This one's a M Powered car but you get the idea. I would think if you are willing to do heavy fabricating it could be done right. I would shift that motor rearward to be sure. Say good-bye to your heater core and associated metalwork. Big time modified tranny tunnel. Totally different differential and mounts. Hope you know how to weld:). If you can build the motor to its full potential it would be scary fast. However, if you are going to just use the stock, or even somewhat tweaked big six, you would be better off going with a heavily modifies S-14, or M20. Save some weight and reduce fabricating. Probably handle a lot better too. If you just want to go really fast in a straight line, throw in a small block. Biggest bang for the buck and yes, it's been done. Guest Anonymous
if you have too much money burning a hole in your pocket. But why not just buy a car with the bigger motor already in it? 2002's were never built to be muscle cars... t
