This Sunday I'm doing this classic car run from the old Brooklands racetrack down to Brighton seafront. It will be the longest trip my touring has done since I put it back on the road last year, and probably the furthest it's been in the last 10! The PO covered less than 1k miles in his last 10 years with the car! Stirling Moss will be waving us off, so wish me luck & wave to the shiny Golf touring on Sunday!

My Touring was in storage in the UK for 10 years. Shipped it over here, and did the 400 mile round trip to Brenham, Texas, for the 02-02-02 Festival. To say I was nervous would be an understatement. Have fun, and post pics.

After "conserving" our '02s to survive to the Year 2002, it seems as though, in 2003, many of us are taking the view "OK, it made it that far... time to DRIVE the thing!"...

In Septmember, "Freda" ('73tii) is entering the Targa Newfoundland, 500km of stages with 1000km of transit!
